Sir William Ramsay School, a co-educational secondary in Buckinghamshire with approximately 1,180 pupils, set out to reduce its high energy consumption while also improving light levels to create a brighter, more effective learning environment for students.
To support these goals, Flick Lighting supplied 599 internal luminaires, including 371 1500mm batten fittings and 19 emergency units, chosen to deliver both efficiency and improved illumination.
During the project, the school also decided to upgrade its exterior lighting. We supplied a further 77 outdoor fittings, providing safe and reliable coverage across the site. Despite this late-stage addition, all luminaires were delivered on time, enabling the installation to be completed within the planned six-week schedule and ready for the pupils’ return.
This project demonstrates how Flick Lighting’s high-performance solutions can help schools’ lower energy use, improve learning spaces, and future-proof their facilities.
