The Building Safety Bill
The Building Safety Bill is currently progressing through Parliament.
The intention with this new legislation is to introduce enhanced regulatory regimes for building safety and construction products. It’s one of the most important pieces of legislation to have been proposed following the terrible fire at Grenfell Tower in 2017.
Legislation requires all occupied buildings to have adequate escape lighting should mains power fail. This means emergency lighting systems must be tested regularly and maintained to ensure they are in proper working order.
Our VERI-FI Wireless Self-Test Emergency System makes this easily possible as it instantly reports back any emergency lighting issues, therefore, it reduces the need of regular manual on-site checks. VERI-FI communicates wirelessly while monitoring the emergency lighting status to reduce maintenance costs. With an easy install and commissioning, this system can be monitored from anywhere in the world via web portal.
