Named after Beorma, the Anglo-Saxon leader believed to have founded Birmingham, Beorma Tower is set to become a landmark addition to the city’s evolving skyline. Currently under construction, the mixed-use development will combine modern design with a strong sense of heritage, becoming a focal point of the city’s growth.
Flick Lighting has been appointed to supply the amenity and decorative lighting, alongside a bespoke outdoor LED solution designed to give the tower a distinctive presence at night. A major feature of this scheme is the innovative system design, enabling individual lighting runs of over 100 metres to be powered by a single driver. This reduces infrastructure complexity, simplifies maintenance, and ensures long-term reliability. In total, more than 1.6 kilometres of bespoke LED lighting will be installed, creating bold continuous lines of light across the façade.
Through a combination of technical innovation and creative design, Flick Lighting’s solutions will ensure Beorma Tower not only meets the practical needs of residents and visitors, but also emerges as a dynamic illuminated landmark for Birmingham’s cityscape.
