GYMSHARK IQ
Gymshark is a British fitness brand, manufacturer and retailer of fitness apparel and accessories. The headquarters are based in Solihull, West Midlands and focus on creating high quality, functional and fashionable gym wear that appeals to a broad range of consumers.
THE BRIEF
Flick lighting, in partnership with W-Tec were tasked with lighting the all new 55,000 square foot building, which will combine Gymsharks research and development capabilities for its 270 strong workforce.
THE SOLUTION
With over 500 luminaires and 450 smartsensors installed entirely via structured cabling, The building has many functions such as Human Centric smartLighting (HCsL), controllable white light for product design functions and room analysis tools. Daylight harvesting reduces energy, by automatically dimming the light inside, when the light from outside is able to illuminate the workspace by itself. The Gymshark team can also adjust the light intensity and tone – through tunable white LEDs – so the light fits perfectly within their product spaces.
