CAPSTICKS LLP
Following a relocation to the Birmingham area, Capsticks LLP, leading
lawyers in the field of health, social care, social housing, emergency
services and education.
THE BRIEF
Flick Lighting was approached by Oktra to work alongside their Electrical
Contractor to design and supply lighting for the new offices, including the
Reception area, Boardroom and Focus Tunnel. The brief was to design a
transitional experience to separate breakout space and meeting suite and to
be carried over in to the boardroom creating a feature ceiling.
THE SOLUTION
Having specified a range of lighting that would be sustainable and functional,
Flick Lighting designed from concept a bespoke product to illuminate both
the Focus Tunnel and the Boardroom. This was achieved using a dimmable
high spec LED array housed in a metal enclosure with a perforated laser cut
aluminium diffuser, creating a wave form appearance.
