AXA

When Axa Healthcare made the decision to refurbish their 120,000 square ft offices in Tunbridge Wells, a significant focus was placed on achieving advanced sustainability (BREEAM Excellent) and prioritizing sustainability, well-being, while aligning with the brand’s dedication to health.

THE BRIEF

The project’s goal was to establish an innovative, energy-efficient lighting environment that would boost productivity, well-being, and sustainability. The client specifically sought wireless lighting controls with Daylight Harvesting systems, automatically adjusting lighting levels based on available natural light. This not only saves energy but also contributes to a reduction in carbon footprint.

THE SOLUTION

After finalizing the lighting design, we chose our STIRLING range of fittings. These fittings come with an integral Passive Infrared (PIR) sensor that incorporates daylight harvesting technology. They directly connect to the Philips Master Connect app, providing the client with complete control over the lighting system.

In conjunction with the STIRLING range, the GALACTIC series of downlights was also implemented, featuring a stand-alone version of the aforementioned PIR technology.
